What's 'a happenin'

Last time i wrote a Journal was back in 2013? foreals? crazy. 

I've been busy working/ not working/ freelancing/ starting a family, and overall just living life. I've been so busy in fact that I forgot I had a DA account. Shame on me!

I'll post up some sketches and small work I've been doing these past years. And hope to produce more and more even with the busy-ness.

Update and Stuffs

Hi All!

It's been a few months since I last wrote a journal so thought I'd update this ish up. I'm currently still busy working, and adding being a wife to that status makes me uber busy. I've been working on drawing and sketching more, and even for a while had a 10 min sketch of the day going.. which was actually successful for a bit, considering i barely keep up with that stuff. It's been busy lately since I've had to transition to a new project at work and my focuses have shifted... buuut I'm still here drawing sketching and trying to be creative! I'm about to start on a new helmet which will me my own since its been sitting there staring at me all sad and solid colored.. but as soon as i come up with an awesome design that screams ME, i will paint once again! So stay tuned as more shall come!

Hi all,

Long time no see!! I've been uber busy since the last... several.. months.. lol. In some good news, I'm engaged as of June and have switched gears to planning my own wedding in 6 months.. and if anyone knows what that's like, you'll probably figure that's all I've been doing on my free time. :P I'll probably post up anything creative I do on here and on my blog (rehanakhan.blogspot.com/), eventually :) Since I've picked up a few DIY projects to make my fiance's and my wedding more personal and fun. I'm doing my own cake topper which should be fun! Plus various other thingsies.

So because of that, unfortunately I've had to put personal art on hold just until the wedding is over, then after that, art will be fulltime for me! I hope to plan on doing more conventions and cool stuff for 2013. I was lucky enough to get into the GDG (Girls Drawing Girls) Crew but haven't been able to participate and contribute to their shows and cool stuff. But like i said... 2013 its goin' down! I hope to finally sit and write out my TJ & Skweek story and create a comic out of it. And create a ton more art!

Story tiiimme!

So I decided to stop putting it off, stop making excuses, stop being lazy, and write my damn story. Well not MY story, but the TJ & Skweek comic story that's been long overdue. I figure I'm in the perfect skill-set/ time in my life to write it up and illustrate it out! Plus I've been setting goals to achieve every year, and this comic has been one that's been pushed back more and more. So I'm doing it! This is really gonna happen! I guess I can thank APE for giving me the push to do it. A lot of random people were asking if I would ever make a comic. Or if I was going to make a story out of those characters, so the time is now!

Stay tuned for updates on what i get done ;) and other stuffs!
